I finally got around to it today and as I was writing it, Ollie and the relief crew took a no-hitter into the seventh inning of today's game against the Tigers. How appropriate would it have been had the Mets thrown a no-no today after I wrote this? Kevin Burkhardt was talking about the Mets having thrown no-hitters before in Grapefruit League action, which is something I did not know.

The next time I can come up with another obscure scenario (like this blog and the Quarduple Play blog), I'll be sure to share it!Ed Leyro (a.k.a. I'd hate to have to listen to either of them explain how we didn't get the no-no.

but kudos on coming up with another obscure scenario. with the Mets' luck, they'd GET the no-no with a walkoff hit or something like that (go ahead and explain that one).DyHrdMEThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07621011643939597497noreply@blogger.com
